The spot offers a wide beach with reliable daily wind during the kiting season from December to April. On-site facilities include a grassy rigging area, showers, campsites, a restaurant, accommodation and kite repair, making it a full-service base for riders staying multiple days. As one of the longer-established schools on the peninsula, Machete Kites serves both first-time students taking lessons and experienced kiters looking for gear, repairs or a place to rig and store equipment near the water.
