Bajareque Coffee House & Roastery occupies a narrow colonial building in Casco Viejo and serves as the Panama City home of the Lamastus family’s renowned Elida Estate coffee — including the award-winning Geisha, one of the most prized and expensive coffees in the world. It is a pilgrimage stop for serious coffee drinkers.
The small-batch roastery pours espresso and meticulous pour-overs that let the estate’s legendary beans shine, alongside pastries and light bites. The atmosphere is casual and knowledgeable, with staff happy to talk through the origins and processing of each cup.
Bajareque is ideal for coffee enthusiasts and anyone wanting a great cup while wandering the old quarter. It is open daily.
